Thanks, I learned some subtleties in tree pruning. But, usually, I prune at any time of the year and so far there have been no problems. However, everybody say that it is better to do this in winter, once again I read this in your article. Probably better, follow.

I’m glad you pointed out that we should use a tree care company to prune trees that are larger or require more attention. My husband and I recently moved to a new area, and there are a lot more trees in the yard than I’m used to. Some of them are very tall, so I think I’ll take your advice and leave the job to a professional tree pruning service.

I really found it helpful when you said that trees need to be pruned at least once a year so that the deadwood will be removed from their body. I will get in touch with a tree care professional then since I do not even know what a deadwood it or how to point it out. If I want to make sure that my trees stay healthy, I need a professional to take care of them for me. Thank you for sharing.

I actually had no idea that there can be pruning restrictions in your area if there is a particular insect/disease problem. If that’s the case, then I’m definitely going to leave tree trimming to a professional. I just don’t have the time to figure out whether or not it is okay for me to prune my lemon trees. It would be a lot less stressful if a professional could handle it.

This is some great information, and I appreciate your suggestion to prune your trees at least once per year. My husband and I just moved into our first house, so this is the first time we’ve had trees to take care of. I’ll definitely look into getting some pruning equipment so we can do that yearly and keep our trees healthy. Thanks for the great post!

Really helps that you have all of the definitions listed out here. I do a lot of landscaping work here in s. TX and I may have to send a few of my clients this link lol. Lots of people that don’t know how to properly take care of their shrubs and trees on their property. Or just don’t even know the first thing…. anyway… Thx for the article
